Gutter installation

Eight months of rain has to leave the roofline somewhere, and if the gutter can't carry it, the overflow runs down your siding, pools at the base of the wall and works its way toward the foundation. The fix starts with a gutter that's actually sized and pitched for the run it sits on.

Gutter repair & re-hanging
Most gutter problems around Eugene don't announce themselves. A run sags an inch, the pitch reverses, and water stands in the trough instead of running to the downspout. Then a winter of Douglas fir needles packs into that standing water, the weight pulls the spikes out of the fascia, and the whole thing starts shedding rain down the wall.
Easy Flow repairs what can be repaired instead of quoting a replacement by reflex. Sagging runs get re-hung and re-pitched, pulled fasteners get reset into solid wood, leaking seams and corners get sealed, and downspouts that have separated or crushed get put back in service. Gutter, roof & skylight cleaning
Douglas fir needles fall year-round. Big-leaf maple dumps all at once. Both end up in the same place.
Fir needles are the particular problem here: they're small enough to slip past a leaf screen, they mat together, and they hold water like a sponge. Add big-leaf maple litter and the grit that washes off aging shingles, and a gutter that looked fine in September is a packed planter box by December — right when it has eight months of rain to handle.
A cleaning visit clears the troughs by hand, sweeps debris off the roof surface, flushes every downspout so you know the whole path is open, and hauls the debris away. Skylights get cleaned while we're up there, so you actually get the light you paid for back.

Moss removal & treatment
Moss is the tax the Willamette Valley charges on a north-facing roof. It takes hold on the shaded slopes, creeps up under the shingle edges, and then does the real damage: it holds water against the roof surface long after the rain has stopped. Shingles that never get a chance to dry out lift, curl and give up years early.
Easy Flow removes the moss and then treats what's left with Moss-B-Ware, so regrowth is slowed rather than handed a clean slate to start over on. Because the gutter work happens on the same visit, the material that comes off the roof doesn't just get washed into the trough and left there.

Roof installation, roof repair & dry rot
The gutter is only as good as the fascia it hangs on. Easy Flow works on both.
Water that has been overflowing a packed gutter for a few winters rarely stops at the gutter. It soaks the fascia board behind it, then the sheathing edge, and by the time anyone looks closely there's soft wood where the fasteners are supposed to bite. Hanging a brand-new gutter on rotted fascia just moves the problem forward a year.

That means one company diagnoses the roofline, fixes the wood behind the gutter, and hangs the gutter — instead of three trades each pointing at the other one's work.

The same damp that grows moss on your roof grows it on everything under it. Driveways go green, walkways get slick, patio pavers darken, and siding picks up a film of algae and road grit that no amount of rain rinses off. Pressure washing takes all of that back to the surface you actually bought.
And since the ladder is already up and the truck is already there, yard clean-up and tree pruning can go on the same visit. Pruning back the branches that overhang the roof is the cheapest gutter maintenance there is — less litter on the roof means less litter in the trough.

Straight answers about the work
If I have gutter guards, do I still need gutter cleaning?
Guards cut the work down a lot, but they're not a permanent seal. Stainless-steel micro-mesh keeps needles and leaf litter out of the trough, while fine grit and shingle sand still collect on top of the mesh and need sweeping off. Most Eugene-area homes do well with a cleaning at least once a year, twice under heavy tree cover — with guards fitted, that becomes a much lighter visit.
What's the difference between seamless and sectional gutters?
Sectional gutters are joined from stock lengths, and every joint is a seam that can eventually split or leak.
